What does my Wii console and a tomb that has been untouched for hundreds of years have in common? They both are covered in dust. Like most people I bought a Wii a while back and snapped up the big name Nintendo games that appeared for it. Since then though nothing worth while has been released, so it sits there unused. Looks like my entertainment needs shall have to be satisfied by the PS 3 and my sizeable porn collection. My wrist is starting to hurt though so I better give the Wii a second chance. Seeing as how there are no good Wii games in the stores I figured I would take advantage of the Wiiware shop and see if there was anything worthwhile to download. Thus I stumbled upon Final Fantasy 4: The After Years. Originally released as a cell phone game in Japan this title is a sequel to Final Fantasy 4 that appeared on the Super Nintendo many moons ago. I like how old school games are making a comeback on the virtual console, but less than impressed by Squares policy of milking their old titles for all they are worth. Why cant people come up with new ideas these days. This applies to movies too. Just watch Dances with Na vees and you will see what I mean. Anyway, this game is set several years after the original FF 4 and has you controlling Ceodore, the son of Cecil and Rosa.
